We knew having the name The Chocolate Room meant we had to have the BEST chocolate cake in NYC. So, we set out on a mission. In the 18 months that we were building our shop in Park Slope, we were also creating our opening menu. We taste-tested the best chocolate cakes in NYC. Culture, creativity, and diversity are the defining elements of Brooklyn, NYC. The Chocolate Room is nestled in Cobble Hill, a beautiful brownstone, tree lined Brooklyn community. We’re very proud to be a part of this creative space, and celebrate it daily. We share our brand with locals and tourists. Tour groups visit us often. When we lived in Manhattan's Upper East Side we loved going out for dessert.  We were young  artists who wanted to partake in the excitement of NYC.s culinary delights but  living on a tight budget.  Desserts became our treat!  But, we were often disappointed with the quality of the desserts. The cake was a bit stale, the pie was too sweet, or the ice cream was too dense. Perhaps dessert typically takes a second seat to main meals at restaurants.  Neither of us are chefs, or culinary experts, but we do know when something is good! What if we opened...
